My 5 Ways of Adaptability During My Bangkit 2024 Journey

My 5 Ways of Adaptability During My Bangkit 2024 Journey

I joined Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka 2024 Batch 2 one month ago. Bangkit's course and assignment deadlines are the most closely spaced out of all the schedules I've seen, and I find it difficult to keep up with them. But by putting the five strategies for adaptability I acquired from the ILT Soft Skill course "Stress Management, Adaptability, and Resilience" into practice, I've begun to adjust to these difficulties. I therefore want to discuss my five experiences with adaptability in Bangkit 2024 Batch 2.

Ways of Interacting

Bangkit gave me with Discord, which is an online chat platform for all cohorts. Using the given communication tool, I was able to communicate with other cohorts from various learning pathways and backgrounds. It provided a variety of topic channels, making it simple for me to discover individuals who shared my interests. These exchanges provided me with useful knowledge and ideas. Because all cohorts come from different places, there may be language hurdles, so we are encouraged to communicate in English on a daily basis. As a result, my English is steadily improving.

Achieving

My main goals for joining Bangkit 2024 are to learn new technical and soft skills. To accomplish this, I actively pursue self-paced learning and attend online sessions (ILT Tech and Soft Skill) offered by Bangkit. I also look for external sources to obtain a better comprehension of the content.

Learning

Bangkit provides several learning courses and assignments tailored to my learning objectives and job ambitions. Sometimes I came across classes that were difficult for me to understand. I used Bangkit's Discord server to find the solution, and by engaging in the forum conversation, I got ideas and a deeper knowledge of the situation.

Working

Bangkit has a strict schedule and deadlines that are difficult for me to keep up with. To fulfill all of my schedule and deadlines, I manage my time by utilizing what I learnt in the second ILT Soft Skill class, "Time and Energy Management".

Thinking

Developing a growth mentality is how I think about adjusting to Bangkit. I learned that I have fixed mindsets that limit my growth. I began transforming my fixed mindsets into growth mindsets after attending the first ILT Soft Skill course, "Growth Mindset and The Power of Feedback". This development allows me to see problems as opportunities for learning and growth.
