My 4th Newsletter This Year!
So, this is going to be an announcement post after a long long time.
So far, 2023 has been a year of exploration for me. I have tried 4 side projects, launched 3 newsletters and offered consultancy services to over 5 companies this year.
Embarking on so many ventures has its ups and downs, both morally and in terms of focus. It's challenging to maintain attention on just one thing.
I sometimes question the wisdom of focusing solely on one endeavor, especially when there isn't a primary revenue stream in place. What's evident, however, is the strain it can put on one's mental well-being over time.
Over the past 4 months, I took a break from side projects to genuinely introspect on what genuinely resonates with me and where I could seamlessly transition next. I'm intrigued by statistics and analytics, for instance, but fully grasping the nuances of each model would take some time.
Upon reflection, I realized my inclination towards bootstrapped companies over VC-backed ones. I admire both, but I particularly respect the bootstrapped businesses that aren't under pressure to sell within a decade. Many of these firms operate as lifestyle businesses, emphasizing customer satisfaction over rapid expansion. This often results in a more balanced approach, leading to healthier decision-making. Of course, for many bootstrapped companies, the initial phase is as daunting as one might expect, but once they overcome that hurdle, stability often follows.
Given my professional background and connections, I find it relatively easy to engage with SaaS businesses. Through my experiences, especially interviewing numerous Turkish SaaS founders at S?f?rdan Globale, I've gained insights into the challenges SaaS companies face.

With all these insights and experiences in mind, I've decided to launch a newsletter and podcast. The goal? To shed light on the journeys of SaaS bootstrappers and to educate potential entrepreneurs about the distinctions between bootstrapped and VC-funded startups.
I shared the first issue of this newsletter yesterday, and I'm excited to announce that we'll begin our podcast series with various founders next week.
For years, I've believed in the power of communities and media enterprises. I'm hopeful about establishing one dedicated to SaaS bootstrappers. While it's not exactly an untapped market, its vastness and growth potential are undeniable.
