?
Disclosing his plan and how he intends to collaborate with the Central Bank of Nigeria if elected.
?
“The CBN governor will maintain his independence, he will be respected. Again, it is not the problem of the person there. The CBN has a role of monitory policy. The fiscal space is like a football field. When somebody who is supposed to play a particular wing is no longer there, you find people playing various wings,” he said.
?
“Replacing Godwin (Emefiele) and putting somebody else there, with that level of fiscal rascality, which is what is fuelling our inflation and our rate of exchange (won’t achieve much result)… these are some of the things we need to cut. As long as the government continues on that fiscal rascality, our situation will not go.” the LP presidential front-runner stated.

-OBI SPEAKS ON NIGERIA RISING DEBTS, SAYS IT IS TOTAL WASTAGE.??
16th of January 2023
?
The LP presidential front-runner said the borrowing was not an issue, but wasting money on consumption without accounting for it on the country’s development is a waste.?
?
He cited out top countries in the world that have borrowed and still borrowing, however, what keeps their countries on track is they invest the money borrowed in their economy (production) to avoid inflation crises.?
?
In his words,
“But what has happened is that when you borrow for consumption, you have a crisis. Nigeria in 2015 had a per capita income of $2,500, we were owing about N15tn. Today, with central bank’s ways and means, we are owing about N75tn, so we have grown that debt profile by over 400 percent. That means that the money we borrowed was thrown away.”

-LP PRESIDENTIAL FRONT-RUNNER HIGHLIGHTS THE CAUSE OF INSECURITY RAVAGING THE COUNTRY.??
17th of January 2023
?
Peter Obi cited coordination, ineffective security structure, and lack of focused leadership as the root cause of the high rate of insecurity in the country.
?
“The growing insecurity in Nigeria is not because the enemy is formidable; it is rather because of lack of focused leadership, ineffective security governance structure, and poor coordination from the centre. All these need to be addressed by first projecting strong leadership signals that allow both state and non-state actors to be mobilised around a single vision.”
?
“Then, by pursuing a robust reform of the security governance structure with a strong coordinating mechanism that assures that all levels of government – federal, state, and local (with a three-level policing structure) – are aligned with strong collaboration with partners from both the private sector and development groups to provide the required services and deliver results for every Nigerian.
“Once this is done, it is also important to have a single, clear, coherent, and consistent communication system to keep the government accountable, and citizens engaged and involved in the development process.” the ex-governor quoted while speaking at Chatham House, London.?

-KWANKWASO CITES THE ROOT CAUSE OF TERROR IN THE NORTH.??
18th of January 2023

According to him,?
“Don’t forget, right now as we’re sitting here, instead of 2.2 million barrels of oil, we (Nigeria) are producing just around 1 million to 1.2 million barrels, the remaining 1 million is being stolen by some people. Where are the people? Who are the people? That’s why we need to stop them.”?
?
“That has got to stop. All these assets must be taken over by the government and be utilised for all of us.”
