Addressing supporters, he made it known that a new Nigeria is possible despite the series of challenges currently bedeviling the nation. He assured the crowd of his commitment to making Nigeria work again for everyone.??

Speaking on insecurity, he stated that Kaduna which is known to be the fortress of the military is now battling insecurity.?

He pledges to reform and restructure security personnel to ensure the safety of life and property is brought back into the country.?

Speaking on the narrative of the country as a consuming state, he vows to change it to a producing state, agriculture will be carried out on vast lands, Bank of Agriculture will be responsible for the finance of food across the country.?

The ex-governor cautions supporters against voting based on ethnic and religious sentiments, rather they should vote out bad leadership and poor governance.?

Kwankwaso spoke at Chatham House, London why he believed that next month’s election might not be free and fair under President Buhari’s watch.?

“Our fears are from INEC and other stakeholders because we have seen what happened in the past and most of this issue centered on the Villa and the President, not necessarily this President.”?

“As long as the centre of the leadership in Abuja will allow the people to go and vote, I do not doubt in my mind that we are going to have a free, fair, and credible election.”?

“For me, I have not seen any reason why Buhari will not allow that to happen because that is one of the only or few legacies that he would leave behind. When we were promoting him in 2015, we were in the opposition party, many things happened and he became the President although he had experience from the other side. Then, he had issues with stakeholders during the election. We believe that this election will be different.” the ex-governor said.?

The ex-vice president charged the party members to make sure they deliver their polling unit to ensure victory for the party, says those who cannot deliver their polling unit will not benefit from appointment, contract, or inclusion into his cabinet.

“There should be no place for violence and anti-democratic manifestations in this election.

“We’ve already committed to that in the peace pact we all signed.”

“We had complained about the violence that had been visited on our party in some states because we did not want it to become a pattern if those engaged in anti-democratic activities were not brought to book.

“Our worst fears have now manifested with the explosion at the APC rally in Port Harcourt. It stands condemned.

“Elections and the choices we make should be about the BALLOT and not the BULLET.
