My 3 Year Zenefits Anniversary - April 27

Life has a funny way of teaching us that we don’t recognize the most significant moments of our lives until they’ve already passed. Rarely are we aware that a challenge we’re going through will have substantial effect on how we live, think, and feel in the future. One of the things I’ve learned at Zenefits is to be sensitive to the people, problems and situations in the now. 

As a way to get his kids to appreciate life, my father often said “We are living in the good old days.” Meaning, at some point down the road we’ll appreciate and look fondly on the challenges we face today.

My three years at Zenefits has easily been the “most significant moment” in my life where I have learned so much, enjoyed serving clients and coworkers, and was encouraged to hone my mentoring skills learned from raising four kids and managing dozens of people over the years. I have also been able to share and apply knowledge gained during a lifetime spent in the benefits and insurance fields.

At Zenefits, we are fortunate to have focused leadership that is sensitive and transparent to the needs of everyone in our company and are eager to hear our feedback. It is my belief that Zenefits is currently going through a “most significant moment” in its development and that we will all benefit in the future as we look back on the accomplishments and advances made in 2018. We’ll profit in many ways, not necessarily monetarily, but in life lessons that will stay with us forever as we meet the challenges and perform the work needed to achieve greatness. Thanks to all my current Zenefriends, the Zenefits alumni that have moved on, and my new OneDigital colleagues for sharing what I’ll always fondly remember as the most significant moments of my life. I’ve never felt so alive as I have during my time at Zenefits. My gratitude to all those that made this journey possible is unwavering. Remember, these are the “good old days”!
