You aren't able to show up daily, aren't able to build outstanding bonds, aren't able to monetize your work, aren't able to build your brand; why?
This is because you failed to realize “LinkedIn is not a social platform but an emotion.” The one who internalizes this emotion grows here. I present my 25 powerful secrets to increasing your brand identity on Linkedin.
Steal it, Internalize it, Implement it, and yo! You will realize every bit of your Linkedin Growth. Let's Go!
?????1. A clear face smiling with your eyes along with your mouth humanizes you. Don't be serious. You aren't supposed to give an interview always.
?2. Adding a video and an audio interaction (giving your intro) to your profile brings credibility to your audience. This compels them to know more about you. You start appearing in search results more. Very few do it, and only they witness the magic??.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ????????????????
3. Your about section must be the real you, who you are, what you excel in, and how you can help them stating the benefits. Avoid buzzwords and jargon, as they have lost significance and prove nothing about you. They are not your supporters! They are now skeptical.?
4. Your LinkedIn banner must summarize your role candidly and effectively with your contact details given there itself. You should keep the color of the banner and background of your profile pic the same to make it look more professional.
5. Get a customized URL for yourself. This helps in ranking your creation more on google and helps your audience to recall well how you can help them. This also symbolizes professionalism. You can either mention your full name or your name and your industry. Just think how cool “devwrites” look instead of “dev1b23b4” ??.
6. Start engaging constructively with the posts you resonate with. Don't spam every post you come across in your feed. The algorithm is smart and is becoming more smarter. These tactics for becoming famous won't work in a few months??.
7. Never forget to leave a comment on the posts you liked. Start the discussion. Let the creator and people know your views. Words need not always be appreciative. Be frank with your opinions and present them descriptively. The community must know you for you to grow. Don't just write shitty comments like “thank you” and “liked it” on all posts all the time.
8. Also, remember that if you liked a post, comment on the post first, and after that, you may react. The algorithm considers only the first act as the deciding factor for that post’s reach. Comments are 40% more impactful than reactions because this tells the algo to favor it more since people are engaging more to discuss it. This helps the creator and increases your activity score on the platform! They are crucial in building a significant relationship between top influencers and you because no matter what, everyone reads comments!
9. Build a community of like-minded people by knowing their background, education, and current role. This eventually builds up the targeted Audience. Don't just accept random connection requests. It's the most stupid thing you do while connecting.
10. Random connections don't contribute to your feed but make your activity less on the platform. They also make your reach dead when you post something. So stay out of this senseless act. It's harmful to your profile. Keep your emotions aside and react logically.
11. Start talking to people in dm's. Send welcome voice notes. This makes them feel more valuable. Also, it helps in building a great bond. People are psychologically more attracted to sound than words. Make use of this fact!?
Also, keep following up with people even if they don't reply for a few days. Don't take things too personally quickly. Everyone is busy, and it's ok! Wait for about 1 week. It's also possible that even after seeing the message, the person doesn't reply because they might have forgotten. It's ok! Wait again for a week.?
After this, you can start filtering out inactive connections from your network and disconnecting from them. What counts is trying, buddy, Don't feel bad about it ever!?
12. You may also develop the habit of sending personalized invites. This creates a different image of yours in the other person’s mind. You took the time to write a personal message; a good one is always respected! Again don't write spammy and send the exact invites to all. In a function, do you invite all guests in the same way? No! A human is unique, and so does an invite deserves to be!
13. Once you are into a conversation, focus on building selfless relationships. Help as much as you can. Once you think you have created a good rapport, you can also connect with the person on other platforms. The most desirable is WhatsApp. It's best to maintain a lifelong bond!
14. Start giving feedback regarding posts to the creator in dm’s if you feel you can improve them. Nobody has asked you to do it, but if you do, you stand apart. A creator wishes to get honest opinions, and if you give those, again, an insane trust gets built up!
15. When you start to create, be random. Put out your thoughts, life experiences, and learnings on the table. This is to stimulate the creative aspect of your brain. Don't focus on niching down for the first 1-2 months. This is because there are people who want to relate to your content to trust you. At last, they are too humans!
16. Consistency is a must here. You lose it; you lose your audience.? Maintain it in everything ranging from engaging to creating. There are a flood of creators over here. The algorithm can replace you within no time.?

So to survive, be active daily; after all, it's gonna benefit you only. Also, keep in mind that you engage 3 times more than you post your content. This has become important to build your identity.
17. Start endorsing and recommending the creators whose content you really like. This creates a great rapport, and you are also prone to get the same in return. This is a win-win for both!
18. In your profile in the skills section, reorder the skills correctly. Your main areas of work should be at the top with maximum endorsements. You need to make them more visible to your profile viewers, who may be your potential leads.
19. To create content, you can also take help from the Interests section of your audience to know which groups, companies, and influencers they follow. For example, If my majority audience follows Ankur Warikoo then I know that most want content that helps them grow. This is one of my top secrets ??. One thing that you need to be mindful of is creating content, considering your audience as dumb. Don't presume that they know this info, no! Show up everything.
20. Try to answer all comments on your post within the first 90 minutes to boost your reach. Also, don't write the same comment in response, like “glad” or “thank you” always to all folks who have written something really well. No matter how many followers you have, you shouldn't treat them as shit! Try to make them a bit personalized.
21. Don't forget to feature your best-performing posts that added value to the community at the top of your profile. This will help you build the correct network and get leads.
22. Occasionally filter out your connections. Remove the non-active ones and create a more active group. You have to reiterate this process over a period of time!
23. Never underestimate the power of comments. It can build a relationship, get you leads, let you viral, and whatnot. The more you give, the more you get; this is how exactly Linkedin works.
24. Get on networking calls and e-meets with your fellow connections. It only helps to make the relationship more robust, and you feel the real taste that networking is just way more than that “connect” button. Also, whenever you want to share your networking experience share the value and insights from that interaction.?
Don't just share, “I’m glad that I could meet person XYZ, and we had a great talk blah….”. Nobody cares about what you are doing, but they do care about what value you give. I mean, come on, everyone sucks at some point, but there should be a benchmark for it??
25. Greet your every new connection warmly. They deserve it. You solve half of the problem there itself, which is overcoming your comfort zone of not starting. Try to respond to as many dm's as you can. Also, ask for help shamelessly! People like it when you approach them, which builds a strong bond too!
CONCLUSION
In a nutshell, Organic Growth on Linkedin is not at all easy. It does require time but produces insane results if done correctly. Always keep in mind,
“You create a perfect brand when you can make that person realize that you are actually speaking to them while they are reading your content. There should be only one difference between you and your Linkedin profile: a sense of touch.”
