My 2025 New Year's Resolutions
?
* I won't complain about the Patriots and Red Sox spending such a low % of revenue on talent but instead appreciate the fact that they are improving their profit margins
* I will enjoy the three-point shot as an art form with an ark like a rainbow
* I will not fight the guy next to me or lean over the railing like the Great Wallenda for a $4 t-shirt shot out of a cannon by some malicious cheerleader
* I will appreciate Don Sweeney for his singular ability to give away goalies and make the goalie he keeps unhappy
* I won't complain about $18 beers at the Garden
* I will cherish my time in traffic as a chance to reflect on my life's blessings
* I will appreciate the 2024 Patriots draft class by assuming they're good guys
* I will take time to enjoy the stillness of the Boston bike lanes
* I won't live in the past and long for a sweet Fred Lynn swing, a Havlicek running bank shot, a pulling John Hannah, a Gerry Cheevers chopping the ankles of an opponent in the crease but instead focus on the good hands of Ja'Lynn Polk and the true value of signing pitchers with decimated elbows
* I will do my best to appreciate the deafening music and flashing lights between innings or during timeouts as a chance to decide whether I need hearing aids or not
* I will appreciate the current college sport environment and try to empathize with their lack of loyalty, NIL money, and overall sentiment of entitlement
* I will look at the Patriots offensive line as inclusive as they allow others to play in the Patriots backfield
* I will allow owners to live off past championships to justify their current greed
* I won't feel bad for families spending over $1,000 a game for sports tickets, concessions, parking, a #1 finger, and goofy big chained necklace
* I won't stress over my phone losing battery power as I approach the turnstile with my ticket on my phone
* I will appreciate the 8 person pre-game panel for NFL games on CBS
* I will look at TV timeouts as a chance to take inventory of toilet paper in my bathroom

Happy and Healthy New Year to you All?
The Red Sox will continue to spend low dollars on talent to maximize profitability. This allows them more leverage to borrow money and expand the Fenway Sports Group especially if they have their eyes on the Celtics and a new arena (read - real estate development opportunity) in Boston. Possibly buying out Suffolk Downs or Widett Circle for example.
