My 2025 Conference Watchlist: Web3, AI & Leadership Events on My Radar

Happy New Year! It's the beginning of 2025 and I'm excited to embark on an exciting journey through the upcoming year. This list of events is an inspiring roadmap filled with opportunities to learn, connect and make a meaningful impact.

While these events aren't set in stone, each one represents a stage I'd love to step onto and a chance to contribute to important conversations. From keynotes to panel discussions and content creation partnerships, I'm eager to share insights, spark meaningful discussions and leave a positive mark.

The year is just beginning and there's so much potential to explore. Let’s break it down, month by month.

?? January: Recharge and Reflect

This month is all about rejuvenation. I will go for a few days to the beautiful Algarve, Portugal. It's a perfect chance to recharge and reflect before diving into the exciting year ahead.

?? February: Client Collaboration and Opportunities

I'll be heading back to Belgium to deliver an AI workshop for a client, supporting their strategy and preparing for upcoming talks. ?February is also a possibility for attending ETHDenver in Colorado, if a speaking or media opportunity arises. It's shaping up to be a month rich with potential.

?? March: SXSW in Austin, USA

Focus: Web3, AI, Marketing. SXSW has always been a target destination, filled with creativity and innovation. My aim is to speak, network, explore collaborations, and record enlightening podcast interviews with some of tech's brightest minds.

?? April: Token2049 and TEAMS Web3/AI Summit

- TOKEN2049 (Dubai, UAE): A premier Web3 conference perfect for building partnerships and exploring trends.

- TEAMS Web3/AI Summit (Tokyo, Japan): With RYO sponsoring my podcast, attending a Web3 event in Japan is on my bucket list.

?? May: Conferences in Toronto and time for Sintra Synergies!

May is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting month with a few major highlights:

1?? ?Blockchain Futurist Conference & CoinDesk 's Consensus (Toronto, Canada): These back-to-back conferences present fantastic opportunities for networking, speaking engagements, and podcast recordings. After last year's wonderful experience in Toronto, including moderating a panel for RYO, I’d love to deepen collaborations further and ignite inspiring conversations.

2?? ????????????? ?????????????????? ??????????????(May 22–26, Portugal):?My flagship mastermind retreat is a perfect blend of Web3 innovation, AI leadership, and wellness, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sintra. With a 4-week virtual pre-cohort, 5 immersive retreat days, and an 8-month follow-up program, it offers a space for clarity, connection, and rejuvenation.

Following Sintra, I’m considering attending the AI Summit at London Tech Week . Tech Week is designed to bring together the innovators creating the technologies of the future, the investors who fund them and the enterprise tech leaders who adopt them.

?? July: Family Time in Portugal

A delightful pause in conference travels as my children visit us in Sintra. Family time is essential for a balanced and creative life.

???August: Content Entrepreneur Expo (Cleveland, USA)

CEX, organized by Lulu and Tilt Publishing / Joe Pulizzi , is an exciting platform to explore the future of content marketing, including AI-driven strategies. It's perfect for meeting and partnering with other content entrepreneurs

?? September: CONF3RENCE (Dortmund, Germany)

CONF3RENCE is all about bridging the gap between emerging technologies and the traditional economy. It is designed to foster groundbreaking business opportunities and elevate networking to new heights. I’m looking to attend as a speaker or panel moderator while also creating valuable podcast content.

?? October: World Summit AI (Amsterdam) & European Blockchain Convention (Barcelona)

World Summit AI AI: The world’s largest dedicated summit in AI and emerging technology spotlighting the worldwide applications, risks, benefits and opportunities involved. They are we are the world’s largest AI and tech community. Over 260,000 and counting. Represented in over 165 countries across the globe

European Blockchain Convention : Returning to this event feels natural, especially as I now collaborate with a tech start-up in Barcelona.

?? November: Blockchain Futurist Conference (Florida), Web Summit (Lisbon), and Slush (Helsinki)

- Blockchain Futurist Conference (Florida, USA): A continuation of insights from Toronto.

- Web Summit (Lisbon, Portugal): I aim to speak at this flagship event or attend as media, creating podcast episodes and building partnerships. - Slush (Helsinki, Finland): Known for startup energy and investor connections, it might align well with potential collaborations in Finland.

???December: Marketing Plus (Cairo)?

In December 2024, I delivered a keynote at Marketing Plus in Cairo, Egypt. It is the premier conference for forward-thinking marketers & business leaders in Egypt. While the dates for 2025 remain uncertain, it’s on my radar.
