My 2024 Year-In-Review and My Gameplan for 2025

My 2024 Year-In-Review and My Gameplan for 2025

Last year was a turning point for ProductLed.

We doubled down on what works, took bold bets, and leaned into challenges head-on.

Here’s a quick recap:

? Launched Our Pro-Level Masterclass

After several months of production, we’ve finally released it for free. In 45-minutes, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scaling a multi-million dollar SaaS business without a traditional sales team.

? Productized the Business with the ProductLed System

This was one of the most ambitious projects we’ve tackled. Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible to turn everything we’ve learned from working with 400+ SaaS companies into a repeatable, scalable system but we did it!

? The Product-Led Playbook Hit the Shelves

Writing a second book felt daunting (it took 4x as long as the first one) but the response has been incredible. It’s a blueprint for scaling SaaS businesses with PLG. We’ve already shipped 5,000 copies, and I can’t wait to see how it helps you scale in 2025.

? Our Implementation Program Became Our Core Offering

This was a big shift. After resisting PLG implementation work for years, we leaned in, and it now represents 80% of our revenue at ProductLed. A huge shoutout to Rodrigo, our first ProductLed Implementer, for making this possible.

? Spoke at 7 Major SaaS Conferences

From SaaStock in Dublin and Austin to SaaSiest in Sweden and Amsterdam, I had the privilege of connecting with hundreds of SaaS leaders. It’s been amazing to connect with so many of you in person.

However, it wasn’t without challenges.

Here are three lessons I’ll carry into 2025:

1) Less is More

I said yes to too many opportunities in 2024, many of which didn’t move the needle. Next year, the focus is on fewer but better opportunities. It’s time to double down on what drives the most impact.

Spoiler: You’ll see me at less in-person events next year but hosting more of my own.

Make sure to sign up to my weekly newsletter to get the invite to upcoming in-person/live events.

2) Lean In

In the past, I’d avoid tackling the toughest challenges head-on. This year, I embraced the discomfort—fixing leaky funnels, refining operations, and addressing issues directly. It made all the difference.

Whatever you resist persists. Now, I'm setting a goal to have at least "one crucial conversation" each week.

3) Team Is Everything

The saying holds true: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Building an unstoppable team that aligns with your vision changes everything. That’s why “TEAM” is my focus word for 2025.

Now moving on to my plans and goals for 2025...

My goal is to help 100 SaaS clients generate $1M+ ARR in self-serve revenue.

How will we make it happen?

Here's the game plan:

1) Host High-Impact Free Workshops Every Month

I know what you're thinking... "Not another webinar."

Of course, the last thing I'd want is another webinar where you leave with absolutely no practical value.

I want to change that for good.

These workshops are so value-packed that people pay for the recordings and slides.

This January's workshop will be ??

I'm sharing 21+ quick wins SaaS founders and GTM leaders can implement to:

- Get more signups

- Onboard users faster

- Turn users into paying customers

We've gotten 175+ registrations so far.

By applying the tactics I'll be sharing, you don't have to wait for months to see ROI. You can see it in a matter of days.

Register here.

2) Scale the ProductLed Implementation Program

We're the only ones in the market offering a performance guarantee for scaling SaaS companies to 8-figures and beyond.

You can apply here.

We're seeing a lot of traction with it and it will be our core offering in 2025.

3) Double Down on My Founder Brand & Newsletter

I'm building out my founder brand as a key lever for driving awareness and growth. I've already been doing this for a while, but now I'm going all in :)

This means:

- Scaling our newsletter past 100k+ subscribers (currently at 43k)

- Actively engaging 10,000+ SaaS founders every month

I'm focused on creating highly actionable content that SaaS founders can't get enough of. And you wouldn't want to miss out on it.

Subscribe to our newsletter.

I want every person to get incredible value from ProductLed before they ever decide to work with us.

That's how you can be "product-led" and deliver value-first as a service-oriented company.

4) Build a World-Class Team

2025 is all about investing in an unstoppable team.

Right now, we're looking for another ProductLed Implementer to join our implementation team. If that sounds like you, apply here.

Our goal: Have 10 incredible ProductLed Implementers by the end of the year.

5) Do the "Boring" Work That Drives Consistency

The not-so-glamorous stuff like:

- Building systems and processes that help us overdeliver for every client

- Getting better at hiring and training epic ProductLed Implementers

- Refining the ProductLed System? based on our insights from helping so many SaaS companies scale smarter with PLG

Thank you to everyone who's been a part of this journey. You’re the reason this work is so rewarding.

Wishing you all a fantastic new year!

Let's crush it :)
