My 2022 highlights

2022 was a difficult year, with so many ups and downs that it was easy to overlook the good times while being overly concerned with everything else. To commemorate the year, I'd like to share a few of my 2022 achievements.

My Wits' accomodation resident, Noswal Hall, held its academic dinner in September, and I was named Noswal's Top Student of the Year 2021. This was a motivating accomplishment for me because I was not coping well my academics at that time. It inspired me to keep working hard, knowing that it will pay off in the end.

In late October, I took part in the 2022 T.W Kambule Robotics Challenge led by Shunmuga Pillay, in which we had to train Jetbots(https://github.com/NVIDIA-AI-IOT/jetbot) to navigate a track autonomously. Deadpool, our team, took first place in both the seen and unseen tracks. Thank you for your excellent teamwork, Vuyani Zitha , Dinal Nagar and Ntokozo Mlambo.

Finally, my team placed second in the CHPC national student cluster competition hosted by CSIR, and I was named the most deserving female student. Onwards to representing South Africa in Germany.
