My 20 Top tips to survive & thrive in 2021
A few days into 2021 we have all established it is not going to be plane sailing for us all, so here are some top tips that may help you move from just surviving to thrive in this bizarre year.
1) Give yourself permission to put yourself first
2) Get comfortable with saying NO to things that no longer serve you without explaining why you are saying NO
3) Set boundaries with work life, home life, family life, phone life, social media life
4)Set delayed response on emails so people can get them at a reasonable hour
5)Mute or leave what’s app groups that are noisy and pinging every day
6) Switch off the news
7) Be ok with missing out 2020 has taught us what really matters (no more FOMO)
8 ) De-clutter (that Monica cupboard, that junk draw, that item of clothes that doesn’t fit anymore

9) Save More
10) Enjoy the little things and the moments of joy you feel. Reflect at the end of the day what things have brought you joy and make that feeling stronger (practice will make perfect on this one)
11) Call a friend (try phone rather than face time and combine it with a nice walk & talk)

14)Invest in personal development and growth

16)Say hi in the street to strangers (covid is reducing connection, let bring it back at a distance)
