My 1st hackathon (part#5)

We have 1.5h before the final presentation to the jury and the pressure comes down except for Thomas who needs to prepare his pitch.

He wants to do that alone so we let him and we take a break.

It’s now time for the final part of the hackathon: each team has 5 minutes to present the project to the jury. Sharity is in position number 10.

Pressure keeps raising until it’s our turn. Thomas starts but, after less than 30 seconds, he has a blackout during a few seconds: he needs to start again! Finally, except this initial problem, his presentation goes well and two members of the jury have questions that are easily answered.

We’re done, YEAH!!!

We’re now waiting for the rest of the teams to finish. When this is done and after a cocktail (the jury needs to decide the prizes), we’re now waiting for the verdict:

Even if there are a few other prizes, we think that it won’t be for us!

We’re on stage and we’re receiving our prize. We’re so happy and proud!!!

After we share the different goodies and make a selfie, since it’s 10pm and we started 28 hours ago, it’s time for me and the other team members to come back home with a lot of things in mind, the pride of being one of the winners and, above all, the feeling that I spent an amazing week-end and I will definitely try to attend other hackathons in the future!
