MWC Conference Las Vegas 2023

I attended America's largest and most influential connectivity event, @MWC Las Vegas conference here in Las Vegas in partnership with @CTIA.

I had the amazing opportunity to meet like-minded professionals, entrepreneurs, SMBs, and enterprise level businesses.

The #MWClasvegas2023 in partnership with #CTIA was a 3-day event that took place at the #LasVegasConventionCenter West Hall. Businesses from all over the world came together to network and make connections.

Day 2 – Workshops & Podcasts!

With a conference as large as @MWClasvegas2023 it was important that I maximized my time and that I made the connections that were relevant to my business and the services and/or products that would add value to my business and vice versa.

I watched a few workshops from day 1 on demand and mapped out my agenda for day 2 workshops in the MWC mobile app using the digital planner. Gaming is not central to what we offer in my industry. However, I wanted to see what the latest advancements in gaming technology were. Why? The customer experience. I was especially interested in how AI technologies were being used to improve the customer experience. The gaming workshops provided me with information on the latest advancements that are being used to enhance the customer experience in sports & entertainment.

Living in Las Vegas I am aware of the many technologies that the casinos use to keep customers engaged while spending time and money. I am aware of the technologies that are being introduced in sports & entertainment to keep customers happy and engaged while spending money. The thing that technological advancements will add to the customer experience is another level of convenience. ?

Key takeaways for day 2: The only experience that matters is the customer experience. The latest advancements in 5G and AI technologies is allowing the sports & entertainment industry to enhance the customer experience by adding additional conveniences that were not available in times past. For example, concession checkout using your phone without having to stand in a long line or in some instances not even leave your seat. More convenience allows the customer to be in control of their experience while being entertained. Of course, the assumption is that they’ll spend more money if the conveniences are provided. The retailers at the events will have more customers and gain more revenue if the conveniences are provided. The experience overall at an event will be enhanced if the conveniences are provided.

The advances in technology using 5G and AI now allow for these types of conversations and implementations across the board. For me as it relates to my industry it gives me a vantage point to consider as I build out customer experiences for clients. I am excited to see what these new conveniences will look like digitally and how they can be used in other ways as we focus on the customer experience using new technologies.
