DECK CADET | OFFICER CADET | CADET OFFICER | JUNIOR OFFICER | APPRENTIECE OFFICER | DECK CADETSHIP | from Italy, Sicily, Palermo MERCHANT MARITIME ACADEMY of North West Sicily ITS "InfoMob PMO"
Majestic lady of the seas, with your 47,000 tons of steel and soul, you were far more than a vessel: you were a refuge, a home, and a teacher.
You braved roaring waves and skies that threatened fury, but your sturdy hull held firm, teaching us the courage to hold our course when the world swayed.
You knew days of perfect calm, mirrors of water reflecting distant dreams. You cradled us beneath the sun and tested us when the winds howled.
Every port you touched tells a story, every cargo, a symbol of toil and labor. Every farewell to the open sea is a promise, for your name remains etched in salt, GRANDE GHANA, never to be forgotten.
And we, who walked your decks, will forever feel beneath our feet your rhythm, the hum of your engine, the embrace of the sea you made our own.
Thank you for the lessons, for moments of starlit silence and the frenzy of chaotic storms. Thank you for reminding us that sailing is so much more than movement: it is to live each mile intensely.
To you, GRANDE GHANA, we honor your journey and your name, forever immortal in our hearts.
