A Seafarer Adrift on the Digital Seas - A Tale of Nautical Nonsense

Ahoy, LinkedIn Landlubbers and Seafaring Scallywags,

Today, as the sun shines on the International Day of the Seafarer, I find myself not on the open ocean, but cast away on a deserted digital island. Yes, me hearties, Capt Anil Kumar Sharma - seasoned mariner, teller of tall tales, and curator of the 'Logistics Lighthouse' newsletter - has been unceremoniously jettisoned from the Maritime Group on LinkedIn! It's like barring a fish from the ocean, or worse, a seaman from his beloved rum!

For those unfamiliar with my sea yarns, I've been known to spin a tale or two about the briny deep, aiming to educate with a dash of humor, like a friendly dolphin doing flips for fish. But it seems my recent posts have capsized someone's ship, leading to my walking the digital plank.

Now, I respect the helm holders of the group, the administrators who navigate through the stormy seas of spam and irrelevance. But I find it hard to fathom why sharing tales of our oceanic odyssey and spreading a bit of maritime merriment would result in my being cast adrift.

To me, it feels like being caught in a squall of digital apartheid and digital racism - a storm that's arrived on a day meant for celebrating seafarers, no less! It's like being handed a lifejacket with a hole in it.

To our esteemed group administrator, Mr. Marius Popa, I implore you to reconsider this course. Is there not room on the high seas for a little laughter among the serious discussions? A ship sails smoother with a happy crew, after all.

This open letter is not a cannonball of resentment, but a message in a bottle, adrift on the digital ocean, seeking a shore of understanding and unity. Let's hoist the flag of inclusivity and mutual respect, making sure no seafarer feels barred from the sea, physical or digital.

So, as we raise our glasses to the International Day of the Seafarer, let's toast to a culture of acceptance, both on the waves of the sea and the currents of the internet. After all, a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor!

If you're reading this and can relate to or support my digital rant, I encourage you to repost this message and help make our digital sea a more welcoming place for all mariners. Let's raise our voices together against digital apartheid and digital racism.

Thank you for not making me walk the plank alone.

Yours in maritime mirth,

Maritime Group is not a free billboard for salespeople to post their promotions. Capt. Sharma, you should recognise that below all these noise is your interest to promote your business. Obviously, blocking your communication with the group is against your interest so you decided to make all these big fuss. Let's agree to disagree and say goodbye.

Adding the link to my newsletter for audience to comment if it is inappropriate . Also just the administrator doesn't make the group and the members too , so riding high horse is no good

What about piggybacking the good work of the administrators and offending the group rules with your promotional text deep embedded in the text - see quote below At FreightBox, we're not just dipping our toes but diving headfirst into these oceanic depths (metaphorically, of course). Our revolutionary freight management ERP is guiding the way through the labyrinthine maritime industry, making our vast world feel a bit smaller and significantly more connected. At powerpbox (Powerp Box IT Solutions Pvt Ltd), we're ready to navigate these uncharted waters (metaphorically speaking).
