On January 6th, our country saw an attempted coup, rooted in the promotion of white supremacy by the President.
Embracing diversity , equity, and inclusion and fighting anti-Black racism is a must do, not a nice to do. We must learn to understand each other and to work and live together, not only to make our businesses and nonprofits stronger and better, but to sustain the Republic and maintain our place in the world.
White supremacy must be dismantled.

3 年Remember what he said after the clashes in Virginia when he said that there were many good people in the KKK. He's always been about race. What happened last week was a disgrace and the rest of the world watched. It's going to take a long time before we restore our credibility to the rest of the world, but to ourselves as a horribly divided nation.

3 年I think Linda has a good point here Larry. Over the past 4 years President Trump has many opportunities to condemn some of the acts of his supporters but he didn’t do that. I listened very carefully to his speech on January 6 th and he incited violence by his clever use of repeated dialogue about the election being a sham. I’m not an American but have worked in the USA. Twice for extended periods and I never thought I would see scenes like those that transpired at the Capitol building. It will be a long time for the healing process to work!!!!
