Music for a new Genre

I grew up in the last century and moved from the old country to the US.  Things were quite different then.  Music as they said  was the food of love and the hippie generation made sure it was.  Soon came the yuppy generation and it brought in the next phase of music and new people like MJ, Whitney,  Steve Wonder etc.  I then seem to have missed a couple of generations of music and now, I am back listening to the new genre of music not because of anything else but my younger son who has introduced me to a new type of music.
