Teenage Wrist-Chrome Neon Jesus If you loved bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Catherine Wheel or Silversun Pickups there is no reason to not like these guys.  Probably one of my favorite albums this year. Dweeb

Lucy Dacus-Historian VA based singer songwriter. This is a pretty dense record that is more than just background white noise. Timefighter

Mt. Joy-Mt. Joy I discovered these guys on XPN. I can see this being one of those songs people sing singing arm in arm late night at a bar-Hey...Ho! Silver Lining

Lowdown Breaks-Lowdown Breaks Horn based hip hop.  I would love to see these guys live. Cold Shoulder

Caroline Rose-Loner Another artist that I heard on NPR, you can tell this is an artist finding her voice, and in a good way. More Of The Same
