The modal to be implemented during the 19th and 20th centuries, having notoriety in its applicability, more precisely in the Second Reign's period, whas the railway, wich in turn made possible the merchant development between the cities of the interior and capital. This transport system played a key role in business relantionships running through other categories as it contributed to Brazil's socioeconomic development. In view of the eradication of such modal, it was verified a decline in the cities that housed stations, railway shops, etc, hiding, this way, the memory housed in these spaces.
