NFLPA Certified Agent Jake Murphy founded Murphy Sports Group, LLC. to represent current/aspiring Professional Athletes.
We are proud to announce a significant step forward for Murphy Sports as we look to expand a footprint in the sports representation industry. Since inception, the company has been based in Dallas, Texas, which was the sole office for Murphy Sports. This is the case no longer.
We are thrilled to announce that we are setting up shop in Austin, Texas! We join a mass exodus of people from all around heading to one of the most exciting places to live and work in the country.
As football is rich in the State of Texas, expanding that footprint is what we believe to be a major step forward in our efforts. As the company grows, this expansion will allow the continual efforts to service clients to the best of our abilities.
Now, with staff operating out of two of the largest cities in the State of Texas, Murphy Sports is proud to begin this venture. A significant show of gratitude is owed to @Garrison Gandy and @Bobby Morris for their continued efforts in keeping this train rolling. We have all of the confidence in the world behind the team that is pushing us forward.

It is incredible to recall the grassroots of this whole operation. In a College Station hotel room, an internship posting on Indeed was created for interning with Murphy Sports Group, LLC. for a golf client services position...not football. At that time in 2017, we did not yet have certification qualifications for the NFLPA, and I was hungry enough to try and begin representing athletes prior. That internship posting was answered by Garrison, and we've never looked back. Fast forward five years, and he has completed his Master's Degree (Go Gators!) and is sitting for the NFLPA New Agent Exam this Summer. As for Bobby? Garrison's good friend came on board the next year and has since graduated from The University of Texas - Austin. Next stop - NFLPA New Agent Exam.
Needless to say, lots of strides have been made and I couldn't be happier to make this expansion move with the team we have. If I told my younger self where we would be right now, I would call it crazy.
Even more exciting? We have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
