Hi, My name is Dean Peters and I am a murmurer.

"Neither murmur ye, as some of them [ancient Israelites] alsomurmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer."1 Corinthians 10:10, KJV

Just like alcoholics have to admit their vice before they can get cured, so do Christians. We have to confess *agree* that we have a problem (sinfullness) before we can be cured. We also have to realize that we canfall back into that problem *sin* at anytime, so we have to be aware of it. I murmur without ever having an excuse to do so. It is sin and I must stop. You may say, "this and that happened to me, I have a reason to murmur", "My job or boss is lousy, I have a right to murmur", "I have a tough life, I should be murmuring". First off, if you can read this in English on a computer means that you probably have a job, eaten food today, drunk water today, have a roof over your head and running water. 90% of the world's population would gladly die so that their kids would be able to have what you have. Being able to do such things means you hit the lottery genetically and geographically. It's nothing you did, no reason to be proud, it's all about where God has put you.

We think we have reasons to murmur? The ancient Israelites, as mentioned above, were chased out of their homes in the middle of the night. *Granted God gave them all cash for the journey, made them rich actually, AND healed them all*, but they split in the middle of the night. I know they were healed because how many 60-80 year olds can walk 10-20 miles a day with a 30 lb back pack in 140 degree heat during the day and below freezing at night. Sickly old people can't do it. Most 30-40 year old American males couldn't do that... hahaha. 

God healed the Israelites. He blessed them financially and sent them on a walk. He also knew that they were going to murmur, and that He going to have to turn their 3 year trip into a 40 year trip. Yet their clothes didn't wear out, nor their shoes. God blessed them, knowing they were going to murmur. It's in our DNA. They werewalking with back packs, long distances every day, under extreme heat and cold conditions ( ALL of us would have murmured given the same situation) I know I would have. I know that even when the electricity and water is off for a day, I am murmuring. I never get sick, but I know I would be a big baby if I got sick, and definitely would murmur. I know me. I am capable of murmuring with the best of them. God showed me this today and I am writing it down as it is fresh in my mind..... GOD KILLED THE ISRAELITES THAT MURMURED. GOD HATES MURMURING! Murmuring gives God a bad image. He knew that they were going to murmur in the desert and He created the destroyer to bump them off.

Isaiah 54:16 I have created the destroyer to destroy.

That was God talking through His prophet Isaiah to us. Murmuring *speaking negatively* is bad because it kills. It kills our tesimony to others. Who would want what we have if we are complaining all the time about how bad things are? It kills the speaker (the murmurer). It kills the hearer. Blessing *speaking positively* heals. It heals the speaker. It heals the listener. It gives life. Murmuring or blessing is a choice. Smiling or frowning also is a choice. Being in a good mood or bad mood is a choice. If you find yourself murmuring, frowning, or being grumpy, STOP. Go to a quiet place with a mirror and say outloud "Why are thou disquieted within me oh my soul? Hope thou in God!" Force yourself to smile. Force yourself to laugh. FAKELAUGHS ARE OK, THEY'LL TURN REAL. It's a physical, almost fakedaction, but it works. You will be amazed. 99 percent of the readerswon't do this. The one percent will, and they will thank me, and their walk will be more pleasing to the Lord. Bless, don't curse.

Philippians 2:14-15 "Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;"

I've heard people complain about cheery people. I even know people that don't like or trust people that are pleasant all the time. Always, without an exception, these people are miserable and angry human beings. They hate themselves *because they are murmurers*, so they hate every one else, ESPECIALLY THE POSITIVE PEOPLE. If you won't take advice from these miserable people *YOU ARE CRAZY IF YOUDO* why do you care what they think about you?  Between you and me,they will quietly respect you. Do not change because of some grump. If you are grumpy and murmur with them, you are not building a bond.They will respect you less. We teach our PureHeart kids this continuously. Don't worry about what others think or say. They want you to stay in the mud with them.

My favorite book in the Bible, the book of James, tells us the best way to keep from murmuring. James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; It's hard to be filled with joy and gripe at the same time. Actually it's impossible. Want to be filled with JOY? Tell people about Jesuswherever you go. When you are talking about Jesus you are worshipping. When you are worshipping Jesus you can not murmur. It is absolutely impossible.

También tenemos que darnos cuenta de que podemos volver a caer en ese problema * pecado * en cualquier momento. Murmuro yo sin excusa para murmurar. Es pecado y debo parar. Puedes decir, "lo que me pasó a mí, tengo una razón para murmurar". "mi trabajo ojefe es pésimo, tengo derecho a murmurar". "Tengo una vida dura,debería estar murmurando". En primer lugar, si puede leer esto en inglés, en una computadora significa que probablemente tenga un trabajo * no importa cuán malo *, comió alimentos hoy, bebió agua hoy, tiene un techo sobre su cabeza y agua corriente. El 90% de la población mundial moriría con gusto para que sus hijos pudieran tener lo que usted tiene. Ser capaz de hacer tales cosas significa que usted gana la lotería genética y geográficamente. No es nada que hiciste, no hay razón para estar orgulloso, se trata de dónde Dios te ha puesto.

Creemos que tenemos razones para murmurar? Los antiguos israelitas,

como se mencionó anteriormente, fueron expulsados de sus hogares en

a murmurar, convirtió su viaje de 3 a?os en un viaje de 40 a?os. Sin

embargo, su ropa no se desgastaba ni sus zapatos. Dios los bendijo,

sabiendo que iban a murmurar. Está en nuestro DNA. Caminaban con

mochilas, largas distancias todos los días, bajo condiciones extremas

de calor y frío, TODOS hubiéramos murmurado. Sé que lo habría hecho.

Sé que cuando la electricidad y el agua están apagados por un día

estoy murmurando. Nunca me enfermo, pero sé que sería un bebé grande

si me enfermara y murmurara. Me conozco. Soy capaz de murmurar. Dios

me mostró esto hoy, lo estoy escribiendo ya que está fresco en mi

mente ... DIOS MATó A LOS ISRAELITAS QUE MURMURARON. DIOS ODIA

MURMURING! Sabía que iban a murmurar en el desierto y creó el

destructor para golpearlos. El desierto fue mucho peor que lo que

estoy sufriendo o he sufrido en mi vida.

Isaías 54:16 He creado el destructor para destruir.

Ese fue Dios hablando a través de su profeta Isaías. Murmurar * hablar

negativamente * es malo porque mata. Mata al hablante. Mata al oyente.

Bendiciendo * hablando positivamente * sana. Cura al hablante. Cura al

oyente. Da vida. Murmurar o bendecir es una elección. Sonreír o

ponerse trompudo también es una opción. Estar de buen humor o mal

humor es una opción. Si te encuentras murmurando, trompudo o gru?endo,

DETéNGASE. Ve a un lugar tranquilo con un espejo y di en voz alta

"?Por qué te inquietas dentro de mí, oh alma mía? ?Espero en Dios!"

Oblígate a sonreír. Oblígate a reír. LAS RISAS FALSAS ESTáN BIEN, SE

VOLVERáN REAL. Es una acción física, casi falsa, pero funciona. Te

sorprenderás. El 99 por ciento de los lectores no harán esto. El uno

por ciento lo hará, y me lo agradecerán, y su caminar será más

agradable para el Se?or. Bendice, no maldigas.

"Haced todo sin murmuraciones y disputas: para que seáis

irreprensibles e inofensivos, hijos de Dios, sin reprensión, en medio

de una nación torcida y perversa, entre los cuales resplandeceréis

como luces en el mundo".

He escuchado a personas quejarse de personas alegres. Incluso conozco

personas a las que no les gusta o no confían en las personas que son

agradables todo el tiempo. Siempre, sin excepción, estas personas son

seres humanos miserables y enojados. Se odian a sí mismos * porque son

murmuradores *, por lo que odian a todos los demás, ESPECIALMENTE LAS

PERSONAS POSITIVAS. Si no tomará el consejo de estas personas

miserables * ESTá LOCO SI LO HACE * ?por qué le importa lo que piensen

de usted? Entre tú y yo, ellos te respetarán en silencio. No cambies

por algún gru?ón. Si eres gru?ón y murmuras con ellos, no estás

creando un vínculo. Te respetarán menos. Ense?amos a nuestros ni?os

PureHeart esto continuamente. No te preocupes por lo que otros piensan

o dicen. Quieren que te quedes en el barro con ellos.

Mi libro favorito de la Biblia, el libro de James, dice la mejor

manera de evitar murmurar.

Santiago 1: 2 Hermanos míos, cuenten todo gozo cuando caigan en

diversas tentaciones;

Es difícil estar lleno de alegría y queja al mismo tiempo. En realidad

es imposible. Quieres estar lleno de gozo? Habla de Jesus. Hablando

de Jesus es adorandole a El. Es imposible murmurar y hablar de Jesus

a la vez
