Mureza is an African car manufacturing brand. Our vision is to be THE FLAGSHIP AFRICAN AUTOMOTIVE BRAND.

2.???????? When was the company founded?

Our company was founded by Tatenda Mungofa in July 2011 in Zimbabwe.

3.???????? How have you remained competent, committed & credible?

Since our origin we have maintained a commitment to our vision, and this would only be possible by adding more competent people to our team. From one individual, we have grown to a team of 65 people across 5 countries and 2 continents. Integrity remains our core priority as we have multiple stakeholders to be accountable to.

4.???????? What are the practice areas?

As an African OEM we offer the following products and services:

?????????????? Production of vehicles and components

?????????????? Testing vehicles

?????????????? Training

?????????????? Consultancy services in the automotive industry

Being an entrepreneurial business, we also offer special projects that go beyond the automotive industry like Digital Technology, Mineral Development and Real Estate.

So far, we have only stated an official price for the Prim8 model. This will retail for US$13,500 in the SADC countries, and we are working on pricing for the rest of Africa. Other products and services will be published after our official launch.

6.???????? Do you have a team?

7.???????? Have you scaled?

Scaling is a relative term. We have grown beyond just one office or product, and we have increased in value significantly. We grow every day, and the future is very promising for us.

8.???????? Do you see your organization expanding beyond borders?

We are already registered and operating in the following countries – South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Niger, and Iran. Mureza is already an international company.

9.???????? Do you assist SMMEs?

Mureza believes in grass-roots empowerment of individuals and SMEs in Africa. We are launching a Supplier Development Programme (SDP) aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs and SMEs to participate in our value chain. There are training, incubation and funding opportunities that will be available through our SDP.

10.?????? How have you navigated industry challenges?

Innovation. Business is all about navigating challenges and our team has become very good at solving problems and withstanding the pressures in our industry. We do not look at what is happening in our environment(s), rather we aim to influence any environment positively. A positive attitude normally guarantees a positive outcome.

Every day is a new milestone for us. The most notable to external stakeholders would be:

12.?????? What message of hope can you give to other entrepreneurs?

For entrepreneurs, hope is not an asset. All I can encourage entrepreneurs to do is act! Be clear with your vision and give your best effort to make it a reality. Find simple ways to start generating money in your business. Mureza started by selling used cars in 2009. Don’t make excuses, just find ways of reaching the intended result. Make finding customers a priority and investors will come to you.

-????????????? Mureza is planning listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX).? We want to give an opportunity to African and international investors to be part of an inspiring legacy of African industrialization by owning a share of the company. We have already secured a well-established investment partner as an underwriter for our listing to happen in the next 24 months.
