Muon Space Secures $56M Series B Funding

Muon Space has successfully completed a $56.7 million Series B funding round ($56,703,744 to be precise) led by Activate Capital, with participation from Acme Capital, Costanoa Ventures, Radical Ventures, and Congruent Ventures. We’re beaming with excitement about this announcement that will radiate through the entire SmallSat industry. This funding will accelerate the buildout of our Halo? Platform, allowing us to expand our capabilities and deliver exceptional solutions to our growing customer base.?

Over $100M in Contracts for 2024

?We're also excited to announce that Muon Space has secured over $100 million in committed customer contracts for 2024. A key highlight is our landmark agreement with SNC to develop and deliver three next-generation satellites to further SNC’s Vindlér? commercial RF technology. The first satellite block is slated for launch in 2025.

?Tim Owings, Executive Vice President, SNC’s MST business area said "SNC teamed up with Muon Space for an advanced radio frequency sensing satellite capability and end-to-end mission solution. Muon's scalable design, instrument development, and operations support, coupled with our RF technology, diverse data sets, and analytic capabilities, will provide a new level of commercial possibilities starting in 2025."
