Mumbai Trans Harbour Link
The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) is likely to open on December 25, 2023. Through the bridge, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai can now be connected in just 20 minutes, instead of hours as they are now. The six lanes on the MTHL, which is the "longest sea bridge in India", were built at a cost of more than Rs 17,000 crore. It will reduce the travel distance from Sewri (Central Mumbai) to Chirle (Navi Mumbai) to 15-20 minutes. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) is a mega project that will connect #Mumbai and #NaviMumbai by a 22-km sea bridge. The #MTHL is expected to have many benefits for the #realestate sector in the region, such as:
Improved connectivity: The MTHL will reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai from 90 minutes to 25 minutes, making it easier for people to commute and access various amenities and #opportunities in both cities. The MTHL will also provide a new route for vehicles and trains, reducing traffic congestion on existing roads and bridges
Increased economic activity: The MTHL will generate numerous employment and economic opportunities in the region, especially in sectors like #logistics, #warehousing, #manufacturing, IT, and #tourism. The MTHL will also facilitate the development of the Navi Mumbai International Airport, the Navi Mumbai Special Economic Zone, and the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust
Appreciation of property values: The MTHL will boost the demand and supply of residential and commercial properties in the region, as more people and businesses will be attracted to the improved #connectivity and #economic prospects. The MTHL will also enhance the quality of life and infrastructure in the region, making it more desirable and livable. The MTHL will thus increase the property values and returns on #investment for real estate #buyers and #sellers
