Explaining technology one designer, engineer, maker and boss at a time -- then summarizing for investors & suppliers
-- and that's a good thing for Autodesk, too.
Mensch und Maschine said today that it had "a fantastic start to fiscal year 2019", with revenue up for in proprietary software business, its new SOFiSTiK acquisition and its Autodesk reseller business.
Total revenue was up 30% in total, and 23% on an organic basis to €63.2 million. M+M Software revenue was up 31% to €18.4 million while the VAR business reported revenue of €44.8 million, up 30%.
CEO Adi Drotleff said that he is "completely satisfied" by these results: ‘The 2019 targets [of] sales to grow +15-20% to EUR 215-220 million - are now comfortably underlined by the good start to fiscal year 2019."
What does this mean for Autodesk? When one of its largest European VARs sees 30% growth in Autodesk-related business, it can only be good. We'll see how the broader global picture turns out when Autodesk reports in late May.
