Multitone welcomes partners from Australia and Germany for special celebration

Multitone’s Australian distributors cross the globe to meet with its UK & European partners.

Australians are famous for their love of travelling and recently Multitone’s Aussie long standing European partners crossed the oceans visiting the UK team at Multitone Electronics Plc in Basingstoke, Hampshire, before flying on to visit Frank Rotthoff and his team at the German Multitone Elektronik International GmbH office in Düsseldorf.

This year is the 15th anniversary of Multitone Electronics’ partnership with its’ Australian based distributors. To celebrate this milestone, Nigel Wright (MD of Multitone Communications Australasia) made the 10,500 miles trip together with his two colleagues Phil Austine and Warwick McKee Wright; a clear testament to the commitment, dedication and collaboration between the partner organisations.

The Australian company delivers secure communication technologies for the country’s health service and other sectors in the Pacific region, for example in commercial real estate. During their visit, the team spent time with Multitone in UK and Germany working on the EkoTek system which provides both staff safety and nurse call solutions, exchanging ideas about strategies, target markets and applications and learning about emerging technologies that are driving further innovation and developments within Multitone internationally.

Of course, it was not all work. The guests from Australia enjoyed local cuisine and a visit to Greek and Italian establishments whilst in Germany. Enjoying a typical English pub with a roaring log fire was also on the list for the men from Oz; so, UK colleagues took the party to a couple of pubs… unfortunately the weather was too mild to experience the fire!?

As well as celebrating this landmark, Multitone has two other significant and even longer anniversaries to commemorate: 2023 marks the 65th anniversary of Multitone Elektronik International GmbH (Germany) – and 92 years for Multitone Electronics in the UK. Three business organisations which together have 172 years of experience supplying critical communication solutions to a wealth of organisations in their respective countries.
