MultistarTM 277 – Enhance the Leadership of Johns Manville SMC Market
Johns Manville has unveiled the latest MultistarTM 277, an A-level surface to be used for automotive exterior body panels, as well.
“MultistarTM 277 was launched after the new multi-purpose product MultistarTM 267,” said Per-Olof Algotsson, director of Johns Manville ?European composite Materials business at Sunway Engineering Products group.
” MultistarTM 267 has rapidly become the preferred material in the SMC molding field since the 2006 JEC exhibition and is suitable for automotive, industrial applications, and electronics industries. ”
Both products are produced in the Trnava plant in Johns Manville, the largest glass fiber comprehensive plant in Europe. Johns Manville is investing in capacity and technology, continuing its commitment to support the SMC market and further product innovation and investment in Europe.
Michael Huff, vice president and general manager of reinforcement business of Johns Manville engineering products group, said: “The launch of MultistarTM 277 further strengthens our leadership in the European SMC market and reflects our commitment to the global reinforcement industry.”

7 个月It's interesting technology if what you present is true: Johns Mansville has developed technology to mold sheet molding compound (SMC) in soft composite LRTM molds. It's rather amazing, to say the least.
