Multiply’s Book is Out! Connecting the Dots: The Forging of Great Character.

If you were asked to describe your company’s character in 10 words: what would they be?

Every now and then, I think of the very first days of Multiply - back in 2002, when there was just three of us. As I reflect on those days, I am reminded of how the various interactions, successes and failures built the values which are now embedded in my team and myself: acceptance, courage, grit, gratitude, curiosity to learn and generosity to share.

One of the most interesting, rewarding and challenging aspects of this journey - both professionally and personally - has been the transformation of our characters. I needed to learn what adaptations were necessary for me to go through to be a better leader and all the while - I was watching my team change, learning from them and (I hope) inspiring them to develop their skills, mindset; as well as, their overall selves.

The development of our company and our characters has not always been the most graceful - but it is because of these moments that we have authentically grown and enjoyed a path rich with human exchange and filled with experiences, wins and learnings.

We’ve become known for publishing books on various subject matters; but this is the first time we put our own thoughts into words. This book is for all of you – our partners, clients and friends. But it’s also mainly for us – we wanted to put down what we discovered and learned to be some of the most essential attributes of great character.

With that being said, it is with a lot of humility that I share the insights which worked for us and with much gratitude to the team who made this happen.

I consider myself lucky to have been exposed to a great mentor, our chairman; to Multiply’s resilient team; and of course, to the inevitable roller coaster of life - all of which have enriched the insights accumulated in this book.

Over the next few days; we will be releasing more content from our book both here and on our social media platforms– and i genuinely hope you enjoy reading them. We certainly do not claim to be experts on the topic but with that said; I hope it brings you as much awareness, knowledge and joy - as it did for us.
