Why is it 3 days long? What property strategies does it cover? It is a sales-fest? Who is it for? 

Whist I am biased, co-owning Progressive, I’ll attempt a balanced review of MSOPI so you can make an informed decision if it’s right for you:

1. It is not for experts, gurus, know-it-alls or full-cycle experienced investors

MSOPI is targeted for people between zero & 20 properties. Those more experienced get a lot more out of days 2 (after lunch) & 3. Those new to property get most out of days 1 & 2 (day 3 can blow their heads off a bit/be overwhelming for newbies; still most stay all 3 days).

2. Why is it 3 days?

Because you can’t teach property in one day, you wouldn’t even scratch the surface. There are many new strategies & you have to build upon fundamentals first. Day 1 covers fundamentals like best area, how to raise finance, how to systemise, the market & economic conditions & how to source deals. 

Once these are covered you can move onto the different income streams & strategies (below).

4. Is there selling at MSOPI?

Yes, but not before relevant information is shared. The event is designed to give you an overview of each strategy & the fundamentals listed above, for you to make an informed decision on the right 1-3 strategies for you. You can’t choose them until you know all of them. For each main strategy, we have a follow on, detailed 2 or 3 day intensive course. If you come up in a rash if anyone sells, don’t come. If you want everything for free & aren’t prepared to put time, work & invest in yourself, don’t come. If you want to go really deep, pick your strategy & go straight to our intensive, detailed courses & bypass MSOPI. We advise that you pick between 1 & 3 strategies to go deep on, not all of them at first. 

5. What are other benefits of MSOPI?

We’re often told that the networking is as valuable as the information. You have 35 - 350 like minded property people who can be contacts, partners & part of your team for many years. You will come away with many cards & some great contacts if you leverage it the most. This is what the community is about. 

If it were my choice I would just talk for 3 days, but you’d soon get bored of that. We do try to add a variety of motivation, inspiration, case studies & a shot in the arm you need to keep you going after you get home. 

Very detailed people sometimes call this happy-clappy, & some of our trainers are more whoop whoop than others, but it’s nowhere near the level of the American speakers/seminars. When possible Mark & I pop in & do a slot & stick around to catch up with you. 

MSOPI is to my knowledge the longest running property event in the UK & has had 1000s of people over the years. 100s or more people have become financially independent from MSOPI, & it has some critics too.
