MS Focus: Transportation Assistance Grant. Premiere first of five MIUAD student-produced videos

MS Focus: the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation collaborated with the Miami International University of Art & Design Media Arts students on a series of videos raising awareness of their free programs for those in the MS community. The project began in April with filming and editing wrapped up in July 2023. The videos are now premiering online across social media platforms and the web.

The first video to premiere is for the Transportation Assistance Grant, covering rideshare and paratransit fees for people with multiple sclerosis who travel to and from neurologist and infusion center visits.

The crew back row - Muhammad Adeel Tariq, Echel Norelien, Chris Oester, Georgeth, Peterson, Anthony Bowden, Letwall Agosto, Fruquan, Rogers, Kyle Farley. Front row - Alexia Vorbe, Kalee Carroll, Valentina Alvarez, Diego Araya. Carlo Barbabacci (absent)

The Media Workshop student teams are typically comprised of students from the Digital Filmmaking, Video Production, Audio, Animation, Visual Arts, and Photography departments at AiMIU.

This Spring quarter the team wrote, planned, filmed, and edited 5 videos highlighting MS Focus services. Each video runs about 2 minutes and contains original footage, interviews, graphics, narration, and music edits.

Look for the remaining videos as they are released by MS Focus over the coming weeks - stay tuned!!!
