Multimorbidity or Multiorgasmic: What do you choose?

What’s the opposite of being multiorgasmic? Multimorbidity! That’s a new vocabulary word. I will share the definition momentarily. While you are readjusting your mind to this word, consider how normalized your state of having pain, discomfort, stress, anxiety and mild depression. According to a recent article in Neurosciencenews.com :?

“Multimorbidity is when a person is affected by any combination of chronic disease with at least one other physical health condition, and the researchers found the psychiatric patients were 1.84 times more likely to report multimorbidity than the control group.

The study found that people with severe mental health issues also report physical conditions including metabolic diseases, hypertension, epilepsy, respiratory, vascular, kidney, and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as cancer.”?

You may be in denial but we all have a chronic disease. For example, I recently shared about my having cystic breasts and how I was told that it “is not a big deal”. Did you know that according to the National Institutes of Health, in the United States “Many studies report a high lifetime prevalence of fibrocystic breast disease in women, showing that over 70% of all women develop fibrocystic changes during their lives, with 20% of these women being symptomatic and 10%-30% developing sclerosing adenosis.” and 50% of women will experience noncancerous cysts like mine??? Another under reported and dismissed morbidity is EBV which is ever present in 99% of people. We commonly call it mono, short for mononucleosis or “kissing disease”. It is one of the nine common strains of herpes. Read more here on the CDC website. All it takes is a series of stressful events to knock you out.

Symptoms of EBV infection can include

  • fatigue
  • fever
  • inflamed throat
  • swollen lymph nodes in the neck
  • enlarged spleen
  • swollen liver
  • rash

Let that settle in for a moment. How often do you experience the above symptoms and dismiss it sometimes to the point of not even going to bed “on time”? Fatigue is something that can be addressed with pauses during the day. Have you ever decided to “get a breath of fresh air” before meeting and experienced how regenerative that is for you? And perhaps during the isolation of COVID you meditated regularly. Did you know that overall immunity improves when you are deeply spiritually connected within yourself…also known as meditating. Instead of doing and hustling, when your body maintains that deep inner connection allows your body to do as it was designed - be self-healing and self-regulating. However, living in a society which normalizes stress to the point of burnout, racing to the pace of someone else’s schedule and constantly distancing your awareness from nature and your body is actually running you into a fast death. Those are some examples of how you may currently have multimorbidity contributing to your normalized stress, anxiety and depression and the new message of “its okay to not be okay”.

Perhaps with this new realization, consider, “it's not okay to not be okay and what can I do about it?”

And it is your choice.

You could choose to be multiorgasmic instead. Being multiorgasmic is a state of being regenerative, self-healing, self-regulating and balanced.

Innocent Innuendos

Walk with me through an autumn path of trees and feel the breeze on your cheek. Really allow yourself to feel and be in this place with me now. What bubbles up in you as you welcome the sensation of that breeze? Imagine it is your own hand gently caressing your face. Now say, “I love the softness of your skin”. How does it feel to appreciate that about you? This can be your innocent innuendo within. This simple daily practice will open you up to feeling and connection within. It is also a form of meditation. I am curious what else occurred in your body as you felt the breath of your words and sensation of your own touch.

You can do this with another in an intimate but not necessarily sexual way…of course with permission. Ask a friend if they are open to connecting deeply in this form of soulful union. At that level of connection you operate in a frequency of complete health and wellness. That is the definition of being multi-orgasmic. It can cure all illnesses and keep viruses from being active.?

While both words: Multimorbidity and multiorgasmic may both scare you, which one scares you more??

Now you have learned two new words in a relatable way. Perhaps you can see yourself differently now. Now you are less dismissive of symptoms in your body. My invitation is to be more connected to your body. Begin by noticing, feeling, not judging and being with your softness. You can keep flirting with death or begin flirting with life.

If this speaks to you, connect with me.

The replays of Three Day Embodiment Experience are posted in my Facebook group . I am leaving them up for the month of November. This will give you the opportunity to experiment with a new way of being in your body. As I suggested above it is not a sexual experience but a sensual regenerative one.

If it speaks to you, you may want to join my next 90 Day Embodiment cohort starting on November 28th.

Absolutely resonating with this! Taking a moment for #selfnurturing is crucial in a world that often glorifies hustle. Embracing the power of self-healing and self-regulation is a game-changer. What's your favorite self-nurturing practice???

Cordelia Gaffar , Your message highlights the importance of self-nurturing and prioritizing our well-being in the face of a society that often glorifies busyness and stress. It's a reminder that our bodies are inherently self-healing and self-regulating, but they need the right conditions to thrive.?? Thanks for sharing!
