Muhammad Ali's Impact On Parkinson's Disease. My Personal Fight.
Terry Macheras
Sales Manager at AWIN Mercedes-Benz Downtown. MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE YEARS STAR DEALER AWARD WINNER
FLOAT like a Butterfly, STING like a Bee... Muhammad Ali, One of my Hero's when I was growing up reminded me of my father in many ways in their approach to life and how they both became legendary fighters battling past many challenges that were in front of them. THE GREATEST! Parkinson’s was one battle even they could not defeat.
Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative disease. Movement is normally controlled by dopamine, a chemical that carries signals between the nerves in the brain. When cells that normally produce dopamine die, the symptoms of Parkinson's appear.
Anyone can be affected by Parkinson's. Currently, there is no cure.
2017 marked the 10 Year anniversary of the date my Father Peter Macheras passed from the complications of this terrible disease known as Parkinsons.
On JULY 16TH I am taking part in Pedaling for Parkinson's - An endurance fund raising bike ride of 91km formed around a community of people who know too well the impact of Parkinson's disease on Canadian families that was created to raise awareness about Parkinson's and raise funds for research.
PLEASE DONATE TO MY RIDE IN ORDER TO HELP FIND A CURE FOR PARKINSONS CLICK THE LINK. https://donate.parkinson.ca/site/TR/Events/CNO_pedaling_4_parkinsons?px=1130081&pg=personal&fr_id=1841
Your donation dollars go directly towards a Pedaling for Parkinson’s Research Grant and the Parkinson Canada National Research Program.
We can help Parkinson Canada realize their vision of a better life and a brighter future for Canadians living with Parkinson's today; a world without Parkinson's tomorrow.

1 年My husband who had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease for 2 years at the age of 63 had all his symptoms reversed with Ayurveda medicine from naturalherbscentre. com after undergoing their Parkinson’s natural protocol. God Bless all Parkinson’s Caregivers. Stay Strong, take small moments throughout the day to thank yourself, to love your self, and pray to whatever faith, star, spiritual force you believe in and ask for strength. I can personally vouch for?these remedy but you would probably need to decide what works best for you.

3 年My husband was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease at 67. His symptoms were shuffling of feet, slurred speech, low volume speech, degradation of handwriting, horrible driving skills, and his right arm is held at 45 degree angle. He was placed on Sinemet for 7 months and then Sifrol and rotigotine were introduced which replaced the Sinemet but he had to stop due to side effects. We tried every shot available but nothing was working. There has been little if any progress in finding a reliable treatment, I quit my meds due to side effects. Our care provider introduced us to Kycuyu Health Clinic Parkinson’s herbal treatment. The treatment is a miracle. My husband has recovered significantly! Visit kycuyuhealthclinic. co m
