We discussed mentor and mentee success stories and took suggestions from the mentors. The Mentors gave some impactful #feedback on how to further advance the operations at MedTechVets, which we have implemented, including creating a person slack channel for mentors to #network with each other!

"Keep plugging away. The transition is hard, and the road to a new career can seem long and daunting. The rejection letters and calls will come, but if you stick with it, so will the offer of employment letters." -?Timothy Scott, Winter 2022 Academy?
This month we're proud to feature fellow? Tim Scott
Scott was a part of our Winter 2022 cohort, where he wanted to?work for a reputable company that allows their new hires the opportunity to train and find something clinical, where I could put skills from the past to good use.
He is now a Clinical Specialist at 美敦力 .
How MTV Academy helped Timothy prepare for his transition:
"MedTechVets was critical in so many aspects. It’s not just the fact you dive into the world of medical device/technology, but you get to interact with people that have been in the business for years. The networking process is always ongoing, and it started with MedTechVets. #resumes , #coverletters , #linkedin , all these pivotal things that most military personnel are unaware of, MedTechVets helped put those pieces together."
If you are a transitioning #militaryveterans, contact Timothy through MedTechVets if you have any questions or need someone to start #networking for you!
