BOARD MEETING & ARMY-NAVY GAME 2023

The MTV Board was able to host their board meeting in person in Boston this year!

They discussed next steps to further our mission to help #military #Veterans transition and find a career with purpose in the #MedicalTechnology Industry through education, mentoring, and networking.

Our board members:? Michael Minogue , Patrice Sutherland , Robert Neuner , John DeBlasio , Mike Grice, MA, MBA , Gregory D Gadson , Derek Herrera , Ann E Holder , and Jeanne (Daffron) Miller were?also fortunate to attend the Army-Navy Game while in town!

They had a great time and loved the opportunity to meet and speak with everyone at the game!

This month we're proud to feature fellow Jayme Hentig, PhD, MBA, MPH(c) . Jayme was a part of our Summer 2023 Academy. He is a #neuroscientist who was in the Blood-based #MedDevice Industry and knew he wanted to return to #neuroscience, as well as take the next professional progression in his career during his job search, where he wanted to be in a #healthcare role where he could close the gap between patients and clinicians.

He is now a Clinical Medical Scientist with Premier Research .

Jayme's thoughts on the military transition process:

"Statistics don’t lie. Army and Marine veterans as well as enlisted service members, particularly E4 and below have the hardest time transitioning. While anyone is free to reach out to me, if you are an enlisted Army or Marine veteran please do not hesitate to ask for help. The world wants to see you succeed and this industry will be a better place with you in it."

What attracted Jayme to Premier Research?

"Premier Research is a Contract Research Organization where I get to help contribute to global phase 1-3 clinical trials in a variety of neuroscience-related therapeutic areas."
