Since the season kicked off in Qatar, an MT Helmets-MSi rider has always been on the podium. However, what happened at the French Grand Prix confirms that the Spanish team's ambitions has no bounds.

Sergio García has reclaimed the lead in the Moto2 World Championship with his second win of the season at Le Mans. And he did so like only he can, leading the race from start to finish, just like he did in Austin two races ago.

The Spanish rider was already very strong on Friday, breaking the circuit record during the weekend's first practice sessions. On Saturday, he qualified on the front row, which enabled him to take the lead from the begining following a superb start.

During the 22 laps around the French circuit, the MT Rider did not make a single mistake. Steady as a metronome, his race pace was outstanding and his strategy proved to be unanswerable by his rivals.

To cap off a perfect weekend, his teammate Ai Ogura was the next to cross the finish line. The Japanese rider stood on the podium for the first time this season, marking it his debut in the MT Helmets-MSi colors.

It's worth noting that this is the MT Helmets-MSi team first season in Moto2. After dominating the French Grand Prix, they lead both the riders' and teams' standings, with two victories and four podiums already.

Daniel Mu?oz was another MT Helmets representative at this grand prix. The MT Rider from the FIM JuniorGP made his debut in the World Championship as a substitute on a track he was unfamiliar with. Despite having to learn the circuit, he finished 23rd in the race even after a crash on the fourth lap.

Moto3 | Ortolá Was Close To Repeating the Jerez Podium Finish?

He pushed until the very end. Iván Ortolá battled in the lead group from start to finish, and only a few tenths of a second kept him from his second consecutive podium. Finishing in fifth place, the Spaniard earned crucial points for the championship and now sits fourth in the standings.

Ryusei Yamanaka moved up to the leading positions in the final stages of the race. The Japanese rider positioned himself behind his teammate Ortolá to make a challenge for the podium spots, but finally had to settle for seventh place.

?Help. Accompany. Protect.

As the Head of Racing Service for the brand, Iván Silva also helps, accompanies, and protects MT Riders in the World Championship. As a former MotoGP competitor, he knows exactly what the riders and their MT KRE+ helmets need during a Grand Prix weekend. ?

Silva serves as the link between the MT Riders and the R&D department of MT Helmets, in Cartagena, Spain, that uses all the information to make new improvements.??

Next stop: Catalan Grand Prix, in Montmeló

Sergio García and the MT Helmets-MSi team will arrive as the standout leaders of the Moto2 category at the next championship event: the Catalan Grand Prix, which will be held on May 24, 25, and 26 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

?It was a very tough victory. Maintaining such a strong pace for so many laps is very challenging, but I'm very happy that everything went well.

I have to thank the team because we achieved a great setup for the race and the bike worked great?.
