Improving ‘Holy Grail’ Lithium Metal Batteries

Chengcheng Fang, an Assistant Professor in MSU's College of Engineering, was named a 2022 Innovator Under 35 by the MIT Technology Review. Fang is working to develop lithium metal batteries, the next generation of batteries that promise twice the energy density of their lithium-ion battery predecessors.
