MSP's Should Accentuate "The Quiet"

MSP’s are shooting themselves in the foot with too much messaging about quick response times - unless they wish to court businesses who are conditioned to buying IT support as a reactive service. If your business has an overly flexible, nonstandard, aging network, you are going to need quick response times because critical infrastructure is approaching end of life. This generates user and network “noise” that drives firefighting requests at an accelerated frequency. It also misses two important business justifications for hiring an MSP – enhanced operating agility and elevated cyber security protection including early detection and response. Before you ask an MSP to prove how responsive they are, you might ask what they do to create quiet business information systems that help organizations optimize their core competencies. www.providyn.com
