Founded in 2001, Nucleus Networks is a Canadian Managed Services Provider (MSP) focused on providing IT Services to businesses across Canada. As of October 2024, Nucleus is a team of 90 headquartered in Vancouver, BC, with team members across the country and abroad.

The team is led by Jennifer Roy . With over a decade of experience in the MSP industry and 13-years in client?service management, Jennifer has brought a wealth of knowledge to Nucleus. Since joining in December 2021 as Nucleus’ COO, Jennifer introduced and delivered key operational improvements to enhance Nucleus’ client experience and culture. In 2023, Jennifer was recognized as a Women of the Channel and in 2024, as a Woman of the Channel in the Power 100 Solution Provider—an elite subset of prominent women leaders in the Managed Services industry. Jennifer is a mother of a 13-year-old daughter and sits on the Board for the Royal City Youth Ballet. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, crafting and spending time with her husband and daughter.

History

Nucleus was founded by Gary Baerg in 2001, working out of his Kitsilano condo. Four years later, employee number 1 was officially hired, who is still with Nucleus to this day. Nucleus developed its IT support roots in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry before growing to expand coverage across Canada, now supporting 170+ clients across a wide range of industries including legal, hospitality, mining/exploration, non-profit, and more.
