The MSC starts the new year 2024 with a New Executive Board - New Web - numerous New Projects

Today we are presenting the Executive Board and in the coming weeks we will post the new projects for 2024.
New Chairman is. Dr -Ing. Bastian Koller . Managing Director, Division Director at the HLRS High Performance Computing Center University Stuttgart
Bastian Koller | Chairman MSC
Dr.-Ing. Bastian Koller (male) joined the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) in 2004 after his diploma degree in computer science and received his PhD in 2011. Dr. Koller was Technical Manager of one of the first Cloud related European Projects with the acronym BREIN. Since he started at HLRS, he is involved in many national and international research and development activities, in technological domains such as HPC, Grid, Cloud, Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence. He is currently leading a European Centre of Excellence on Engineering and coordinating the European Initiatives EuroCC and CASTIEL which implement in 33 countries national competence centres on HPC and associated technology. Since 2014 he is the Managing Director of HLRS, being responsible for the day-to-day operations and the overall R&D strategy.
