NTELHundreds of demonstrators gathered in Cardiff, Wales on Tuesday to oppose British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s decision to suspend Parliament. The protest was organized by the Cardiff People’s Assembly, and called for a general election to “give people an opportunity to have their say.” Yesterday’s protest follows the large-scale protests that took place over the weekend, with an estimated 10,000 people having gathered in central London and briefly blocking traffic on a downtown bridge and in Trafalgar Square. There were 32 protests planned across the United Kingdom (UK) on Saturday, organized by anti-Brexit campaign group Another Europe Is Possible, which has called for daily demonstrations to take place. Approximately 100 demonstrators also gathered outside the British embassy in Dublin, Ireland yesterday over the suspension and potential “no-deal” exit from the European Union.
