Inspiration To Our Inception

In the year 1993, M/s Jay Wood Industry came into existence under the visionary leadership of Late Mr. Deepak Shah. As the laying foundation of the company, we infused the “Fire-brigade model" into the workings of our company. This inspiration has fuelled our fire today helping us ensure prompt yet high quality deliveries.?

Guided by the compelling inspiration and vision of Late Mr. Deepak Shah, we embarked on a path that has since become our legacy. From the very beginning, our ambition was twofold: to provide a platform for change within the pallet sector and to redefine the standards of service delivery. We recognized that innovation and efficiency should not be isolated concepts, but rather integral components of every operation. This commitment has been the driving force behind our ability to consistently deliver not only promptly but also with a commitment to exceptional quality.

A Story Of Three Decades?

Over the years, Jay Wood Industry has expanded its operations by incorporating wood sourcing from European countries, implementing standardized production protocols, and introducing automation in our supply chain. The company has been awarded with prestigious internationally recognised certifications such as ISO certification, FSC & PEFC certificate and EPAL certificate Level 2. Moreover, we have established enduring partnerships with our esteemed clients and fostered relationships with the suppliers.

Currently, we have more than 100 clients on board across a wide spectrum of industries, including pharmaceuticals, automotive, food & beverage, engineering, chemicals, and paper manufacturing. Each of these clients serves as a distinctive testament to our unwavering dedication to delivering excellence, dependability, and unmatched customer satisfaction.??

Challenges Redefining A Brighter Future

The biggest hurdle we faced was navigating our company's growth trajectory while setting up a stable operational framework. The pallet industry lacked standardized practices and protocols, presenting a unique set of obstacles. In our initial stages, we procured pine wood from Gandhidham. However, we encountered hurdles in responsibly sourcing wood that adhered to our sustainability principles. Price conflicts further complicated our wood procurement process.

As we progressed, we recognised the need for even higher quality and consistency in our raw materials. This led us to explore foreign partnerships for importing pine wood directly. This strategic move allowed us to maintain strict control over the quality of the raw materials we were using, thus eliminating the issues we had encountered previously. By collaborating with foreign partners, we not only improved the quality of our products but also established a reliable supply chain that contributed to the overall growth of the company.

Key Milestones & Achievements

FSC and PEFC Certificates: The acquisition of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certificates is a significant accomplishment. Jay Wood Industry was the company in India to produce certified PEFC pallets, showcasing our commitment to responsible and sustainable sourcing of raw materials.?

EPAL Level 2 Certificate: As the first and only company to manufacture licensed CP Pallets, as well as produce EPAL Euro Pallets in India, we are certified by the European Pallet Association e.V.(EPAL). This achievement underscores our unyielding focus on quality and adherence to global standards. It positions us as a reliable producer of certified pallets, contributing to the optimisation of worldwide supply chain operations. In 2023, Jay Wood Industry also received EPAL level certification granting us the right to self-control.?

Introduction of Automation: The integration of automation into our manufacturing processes marks a noteworthy achievement. This strategic move underscores our commitment to efficiency, consistency, and remaining at the forefront of industry technology. Automation has not only boosted production capabilities but also elevated the overall quality of our pallets.

Solar Panel Installation: We demonstrated our commitment to sustainability and our environmentally friendly approach at our Taloja facility by implementing a 97.5 KW solar panel system, which now powers 85% of our operations, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

ISO Certification: ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification by Bureau Veritas supports our drive to increase efficiency and exceed customer expectations. Our rigorous approach to quality management aids us to deliver products and services of consistent quality.?
