MR Vaccination Drive 2023

North Point Residential School, Siliguri in association with the Department of Health and Family Welfare - West Bengal initiated and completed the MR Vaccination drive held in the school premises on 18th January 2023. As per the norms of the medical department, students between the age of 3 to 15 were registered in consultation with parents, and out of 606 students from nursery to class X, 505 students were successfully inoculated under strict observation of the medical team and the school representative.

The campaign was planned perfectly by counseling parents a week before beside that teachers were assigned to perform a respective duty to ensure a hassle-free movement of parents. The rooms were allocated for parents to wait for their turn, and settle after the vaccination. The time was allotted for each student in each class starting from nursery to higher classes.

The parents started turning up with their ward at 10.30 am and after vaccination, they left home. By 2 pm the MR Vaccination drive was concluded with a great turnout percentage with parents acknowledging and appreciating the initiative undertaken by the school to protect students from the infections of Rubella and Measles.?

A day after an MR Vaccination drive, a report from respective class teachers from nursery to class x was submitted positively to Principal Mam and the same report along with photos clicked of the campaign was sent to the department of health and family welfare - West Bengal.?

We are pleased to inform you that throughout the vaccination campaign, there was no single incident of mishap for which we thank the medical team and teachers on duty for efficiently handling the entire process. We are thankful to the Government of West Bengal for their support and the initiative they took to prevent Rubella and Measles.?
