Mr Beast surpasses PewDiePie as the most subscribed content creator on YouTube
Jimmy 'Mr Beast' Donaldson overtook Swedish creator PewDiePie to be the most subscribed content creator on Wednesday. He hit the milestone of 111 million subscribers on YouTube.
Mr Beast, on November 15, officially surpassed PewDiePie as the most subscribed content creator on YouTube, as per the website Dexerto. Mr Beast now has a whopping 111 million subscribers. A short video of the same was shared by Dexerto on Twitter and it has gone viral with over a million views.

He even livestreamed the entire countdown to 100 million on one of his YouTube channels. He has joined the league of T-Series, Moonbug Cocomelon and SET India after hitting the milestone.
"Over the last few years, Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson has become one of the fastest-rising YouTubers on the Google-owned platform, having blown through his goal of 100 million subs back in July. Now, he has secured his spot as the site's most subscribed content creator, overtaking long-time Swedish creator PewDiePie," Dexerto said.
"MrBeast has overtaken PewDiePie and is now the most subscribed YouTuber," reads the caption of the post by the website.
As per a report by Forbes, the 24-year-old YouTuber earned USD 54 million in 2021. He makes around USD 5 million a month, making him the highest-paid content creator on YouTube.
Mr Beast also shared a post on Twitter thanking his loyal followers. "Over a million people celebrated 100,000,000 subscribers with me. YouTube is the one thing that’s always made me happy and I’m grateful I get to do this all day everyday," he captioned the post.

Jimmy Donaldson started his online career on 2012 on a much smaller YouTube channel. He started becoming popular and getting noticed in 2020 after his videos involving crazy stunts started going insanely viral online.
