Overview

Managed Print Services are a key offering for the healthcare vertical and one that our customers are increasingly seeing value in. As IT staffs struggle to maintain their pace beneath a pile of IT projects and corporate leadership struggles to increase margins and grow their footprint, the desire to offload "lower value" projects to others increases.

Although managing a printer fleet in a large healthcare enterprise may be logistically difficult, it is a challenge that Lexmark is well suited to tackle.

·      Healthcare customers typically expect a vendor to manage a mix of existing devices in addition to new devices.

·      Clinical areas, although the highest volume areas, typically require 24/7 support due to the nature of their business·      

·      Merged organizations must deal with a wider variety of IT equipment causing difficulty in managing a highly distributed fleet and inability to drive out unnecessary cost.

·      Integrate Lexmark Print Management to strengthen security when printing confidential documents, such as those for release of information requests.

·      Lexmark's largest MPS customer is a healthcare customer where we manage over 40,000 devices .

·      Our single global system is instantly aware of devices in need of attention allowing us to take action, often times preemptive action, to ensure optimal uptime. This means fewer interventions by clinicians allowing them to spend more time with patients.

·      Our contract renewal rate is 95% over the last five years.
