MP DP1 - Belanger Platoon
Another one bites the dust...Not even the cold Arctic air that fell over most of the country in the last couple of days could keep these future MP from learning how to safely load and unload their P-225 Sig Sauer weapons. The state of the art Canadian Force Military Police Academy (CFMPA) allows these students to stay inside and train on the indoor small arms range. According to the students, the Use of Force (UofF) Instructors put their professionalism and supreme knowledge on display with flawless demonstrations and?clear and concise explanations. We all had plenty of rounds and practice applications to hone our P-225 handling and shooting, leading us to the successful completion of our P-225 shooting Performance Competency (PC). Next week, the students and I will engage in our first MS Teams mentoring session where we will discuss our expectations of each other. #proud of this next bunch of military police officers.
It sounds like the CFMPA has advanced quite a bit in their training since my days. Well done!
