Moving Up (To the Penthouse)!

Allison and Jason had been living in their cozy one bedroom condo in Bay Village for a couple of years and loving it. As they thought about the future, they realized it might be time to find more space, and began a passive house hunt. 

It wasn't until they laid eyes on 40 Hereford St. that things became real. It was love at first sight when the unique, rounded front door greeted them upon arrival. Up a few flights of stairs, they walked into what they knew would one day be their new two-bedroom home, boasting an extra 1000 sq feet than their current place. 

Exposed brick, huge skylights and a beautiful open kitchen offered just the character they were seeking. Allison envisioned all white walls and vintage rugs. Jason daydreamed about grilling on their private deck. We helped them through tense negotiations, the home inspection, and navigating all the condominium documents until we were finally under agreement!  

Our favorite attorney partner, Lynn M. Deitzer, navigated atypical circumstances with the buyers, which arose two days before closing. With a great team helping them all throughout the process, Allison and Jason's dream home became a reality and they can enjoy city views from their Back Bay penthouse day and night.
