Moving Toward Harmony

This painting from my gradient series is about building harmony between complementary opposites--in this case blue and orange. The visual game is to move each color gradually toward the other, creating a perfect, even gradient.

Unity is built as each hue simultaneously holds its unique quality while adapting to accommodate and honor the other.

Working on this has given me time to think about ways I can do that better with people, too.
