Moving target vs fixed target

I have always been a risk taker. The thing with risk taking is that you get many bruises, some heal faster than others. But as years go by ,i have become more cautious and deliberate in the steps that i am taking. I came across a story that describes the hunting styles of the lion and cheetah. The lion stakes out its prey and pounces to pursue,if it comes along another prey,it stops chasing the previous prey and starts chasing the new prey that is closer and looks better, and if again it spots another easier prey it goes after it and the cycle continues. But for a cheetah, once it stalks out its prey, and decides that is its target,it goes after it with full speed, determination and focus. Even if another prey appears,it will not lose sight of its focused prey until it gets it. No wonder the cheetah remains agile and youthful over the years while the lion tires and grows weak over time. I have learnt over time i cant case everything,i have lost so many things that i tried to chase simultaneously since i thought i could achieve all. Now i am more deliberate and focused in what i do and i can see and feel the rewards. I realise it will take patience, absolute determination and focus to succeed in one given cause, and i do urge anyone else especially the multi- talented folks with lots of energy and ideas. It also takes a whole deal of belief in one's abilities and self worth to pursue your own cause defiantly, but it is worth it.Its not easy to aim at a moving target but you can easily aim and hit a fixed target. Happy hunting!
