Moving on... ??

I wanted to update my network, partners and former colleagues and thank the Shopgate family for an amazing experience over the last 4 years. 

In October we transitioned our offices from Tempe, Arizona to fully focus on our efforts in Austin, Texas a project that we launched over a year ago that's now blossomed into a solid group of mobile app fanatics continuing to lead in the mobile/app space. 

Unfortunately my time there has come to an end. Those of you that have been part of a startup from day one can understand how hard it is to let go of something that consumed your life for nearly half a decade, but feels like Yesterday. 

No matter which objectives we set reach at Shopgate, I was never satisfied. I appreciate those that trusted my leadership and came along for the wild ride. In reflection, being entrusted by the founders to launch Shopgate US remote out of my home for the first 6 months, then moving into our first office space, shortly out growing that office and expanding into a space to fit 60. I have to say we did put in a little work. With year over year US growth since 2013 and not to mention nearly 1000 merchant acquisitions (I'm bragging a little here), I can take a look back, feel content and know that I did my best to contribute to an amazing company. Im proud to say that over the years I had the privilege to work with some genuine rockstars. 

Without the support of the founders, investors, German/global team, partners and most importantly the merchants who trusted us in early adoption of mobile/apps, none of our success to date could have been possible. 

I apologize that I didn't update sooner, but I "tried" to take some time off...lol but then got caught up shortly in my next adventure which I'll be excited to announce formally soon! All the best to the Shopgate Family past and present!
