The Moving Industry

Pakistani trucking industry is growing rapidly, and it's estimated to be worth $3.2 billion by 2023. The government has focused on developing infrastructure in order to support this growth, particularly in the south of the country, where there are currently no major highways. A government agency called the National Logistics and Supply Chain Development Board (NLSDB) was recently established with the goal of improving logistics services across Pakistan, but they have a lot of work ahead of them!

Currently, trucks are not allowed on most major highways, which means that many goods must be shipped from one place to another via rail or road. This can cause delays and other problems for customers because their deliveries aren't always what they expected. The NLSDB hopes that by developing more efficient infrastructure for trucks (and trains), they can help improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs for businesses in Pakistan.
